Let us introduce ourselves. We’re Chris and Nada who created this small family biz, based in the Sutherland Shire.

The Community Basket grew from a simple passion of wanting fresher better quality and tastier produce. We discovered that at the markets and wanted to share that with our community.

I (Nada) have been going to the markets since I was a young girl with my parents and now as a mum myself, I absolutely love the variety, quality and the opportunity to support other small family businesses and farmers.

We’re building The Community Basket to be a place where local families can find beautiful, quality food and thoughtful things to enjoy, share and give — from fresh seasonal produce and farm-fresh eggs to beautiful pantry goods, fresh bread, flowers, hampers, gifts and more.

Everything we bring into our basket is chosen with the same care: because it’s something we’d be proud to have in our own home, share with our family or give to someone we love.
